Hi this is a short presentation of my How To Draw A Car Youtube channel full of Drawing Tutorials videos and tips. On my channel we don’t just draw cars but we also have Designtalks LIVE on Fridays to talk a bit about Car Design Insights. If you are a car design passionate or young design student you should check it 😉
I started a new Online Interactive Sketching Cars Course that is held every Thursday on Google Meet. Several people are already working with me to improve their skills and prepare for a design school admission. Some participate as design students to correct some of their mistakes and I am there to help them sketching with them and checking their sketches giving constructives feed-backs. The objective is to improve your skills and understand well the 3 dimensional car design developement on a main well proportioned volume or shape.
If interested please write to me via email (or via the contact on this website) and I will answer to you explaining how to do to be part of it.
it is with joy and also surprise that this morning I have got the good news about this website long effort in terms of Infos, quality, credibility about Car Design Education.

Many of you lately are asking me to talk about mood boards as part of design project presentations. What are they there for? Why do we have to think about a mood board for our design project presentation? What about how to make one?
In this video I try to explain the useful use of a mood board in a design presentation.
The Drive in Design, a very important element that we add to Passion and Talent (last week video).
It is the Drive (motivation) that really motivates us strongly to make the extra step to push our limits. The Drive in Design is the strong will not to give up, the will to work harder and harder to improve the most we can. Car sketching, product sketching or any type of major will be done at its best only when we have Passion the necessary inner Talent and the Drive for it.
a new video about a car sketch tutorial made in 3 steps. This time I used a felt tip pen for Step 1 for a rugh linework and proportion study in side view. Step 2 is done with a light marker thin point making all necessary corrections, and step 3 is done with a blue soft color pencil Faber Castel or Prismacolor to apply a final quality finish giving enphasis to line quality and shading. A light background to frame well the composition on page.
