Hi this is a short presentation of my How To Draw A Car Youtube channel full of Drawing Tutorials videos and tips. On my channel we don’t just draw cars but we also have Designtalks LIVE on Fridays to talk a bit about Car Design Insights. If you are a car design passionate or young design student you should check it 😉
I started a new Online Interactive Sketching Cars Course that is held every Thursday on Google Meet. Several people are already working with me to improve their skills and prepare for a design school admission. Some participate as design students to correct some of their mistakes and I am there to help them sketching with them and checking their sketches giving constructives feed-backs. The objective is to improve your skills and understand well the 3 dimensional car design developement on a main well proportioned volume or shape.
If interested please write to me via email (or via the contact on this website) and I will answer to you explaining how to do to be part of it.
a front view perspective for this car sketch. Not an usual view seen the angle I used, but for sure very dynamic. I used a black ball point pen for the outline, I used 2 cool gray tones markers for shading and a black felt tip pen for the last line tune up.
In this video I show how, in less than 10 minutes, you could make a car sketch to doodle your ideas. I used a Blue soft color pencil Faber Castel (you can use also a Prismacolor). I added for shadows a dark Blue marker and a light Blue marker for some body shading to read better the volumes of this car sketch. Enjoy this car sketch tutorial video.
Monochromatic car sketching can be very useful because in a little time we can sketch many ideas in a very clear and professional way. So, i decided to make a monochromatic car sketch tutorial to show you how it can be done.
This is what you need to make your drawing: black soft prismacolor, Cool Gray1 – 3 – 5 markers & a Black markers. Enjoy the video!
